WELCOME MESSAGE
A Message from Our President
“When we named this Gurdwara ‘Prabh Milne Ka Chao,’ we chose a name that is not just a label but a mission. It means ‘the longing to meet God.’ Every meditation session, every meal served in Langar, every prayer whispered—all of it is an expression of that sacred longing.
In a world that often feels divided and rushed, we offer a space where you can slow down, breathe, and remember who you truly are. Whether you have been practicing Sikh meditation for decades or are walking into a Gurdwara for the first time, you belong here.
Come as you are. Leave feeling lighter.”
— Sardar Gurpreet Singh, President, Gurdwara Prabh Milne Ka Chao Meditation Society
OUR THREE PILLARS
What We Stand For
At the heart of our community are three timeless practices that nurture the soul and serve humanity.
1. MEDITATION (SIMRAN)
Connect with the Divine Within
Through Naam Simran (remembrance of God’s name), Kirtan (devotional singing), and Gurbani Vichar (scriptural discussion), we guide you on an inner journey toward peace, clarity, and divine love.
2. SERVICE (SEVA)
Hands That Serve Are Holier Than Lips That Pray
Seva is meditation in action. Whether you wash dishes in the Langar hall, shovel snow from the parking lot, or drive a senior to a doctor’s appointment—every act of selfless service brings you closer to the Divine.
3. COMMUNITY (SANGAT)
Together We Rise
The company we keep shapes our soul. Our sangat (congregation) is a family that supports each other through life’s joys and challenges. From youth programs to seniors’ gatherings, from holiday celebrations to crisis support—you never walk alone here.
GURU KA LANGAR
The Free Kitchen That Feeds Everyone — No Exceptions
Every single day, our Langar hall serves free, nutritious, vegetarian meals to anyone who walks through our doors. Rich or poor, Sikh or Christian, friend or stranger—everyone sits together on the same floor, eating the same simple food.
This is the Sikh tradition of Vand Chakna (sharing with others). In a world that builds walls, Langar builds bridges.
What We Serve Daily:
| Meal | Time | Menu (Sample) |
| Breakfast | 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM | Tea, bread, porridge |
| Lunch | 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM | Dal, roti, sabzi, rice, kheer |
| Dinner | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Simple vegetarian meal |
